SOCIAL INNOVATION AND NEEDS IN MARINGÃ CITY, A DOCUMENTARY RESEARCH

The aim of this study is to identify the needs of social innovation in the urban context of the city of Maringá. For this, a descriptive documentary research was performed. The documents that make up the corpus of this research include: 135 questionnaires and five minutes meetings the Territorial Planning and Management Assemblies (APGT) to discuss the 2019 Annual Budget Law. Data were treated using descriptive statistics and content analysis. . The results present a synthesis of needs for APGT, and their specificities, which are opportunities for the development of innovative solutions. Needs in the area of public safety stand out as a priority in all APGTs, ranking first in APGTs 1 (Centro region), 2 (Conjunto Lea Leal region), and 4 (Jardim Mandacaru region).Downloads
