Abstract

This work is the result of observations and considerations from a stage held in COLTEC/UFMG, in a special program named PEMJA. In addition to a literature review on the profile of Adult and youth education are the results of a questionnaire that support socio-economic profile of the student as well as contribute to the process of understanding of mathematics within the context of EJA.
