Sprinkler irrigation uniformity effects on bean yield, Phaseolus vulgaris L. (Leguminosae-Faboideae), and crop growth were studied. Number of pods by plant, number of grain by pod, mass of one hundred grains and crop yield were measured to quantify crop yield. To express crop growth, leaf area index (LAI) was measured before harvesting. Four irrigation uniformity levels were imposed, corresponding to four sprinkler spacing. Highest LAI was verified on the best uniformity treatment, but highest crop yield was obtained in productionDownloads
