The objective of this work was to study the effect of Thidiazuron (TDZ) in the in vitro regeneration of rice cultivars. The explants were transferred to MS medium containing different concentration of TDZ. The results indicate that doses were significant on shoot regeneration and growth shoots. For the length of the shoots the interaction cultivar/concentration of TDZ was significant. For the shoots of first passage showing significant differences in the regeneration rate of cultivars, as well as among the concentrations and interaction these factors. All the utilized TDZ concentrations also originated vitrified shoots.Downloads
