Abstract

The objective of this study was to carry out a survey of the Cestrum species for southern Bahia. Systematic monthly collections of Cestrum were made in areas of southern Bahia Atlantic moist forest. The collected material was identified, described, and illustrated employing conventional methodology for botanical systematics. The following specimens were collected and identified in this Cestrum lanceolatum Schott. Ex Sendtn, C. megalophyllum Dunal, C. parqui L’Her, and C. schlectendahlii G. Don
