QUESTÕES SOCIOCULTURAIS NO “TERCEIRO MUNDO”: AMÉRICA LATINA

Nesta pesquisa estudar-se-á o pós-colonialismo, como parte dos Estudos Culturais, para melhor revelar a composição híbrida e transcultural dos grupos que compõe as sociedades do assim chamado “terceiro mundo”, principalmente dos países que, a pouco tempo na história, libertaram-se das forças hegemônicas do imperialismo europeu. Para sutil exemplificação dessa realidade, usar-se-á a obra literária A História do Ventríloquo (1999), de Pauline Melville, ficção essa descrita na ex-Guiana Inglesa. Assim, haverá um “olhar” mais detalhado sobre a situação da América Latina Abstract: In this research, there will be a study on post-colonialism as part of the Cultural Studies, in an attempt of better revealing the hybrid and transcultural composition of the groups which form the societies of the so called “Third World”, mainly of those countries that, from a short time in History, could be free from the hegemonic power of European Imperialism. As a form of subtle exemplification, there will be the use of a literary novel written by Pauline Melville: The Ventriloquist’s Tale (1999), fiction described in ex-British Guyana. So, there will be a more detailed “look” upon the Latin American situation.Téléchargements
