O CONCEITO DE REPRESENTAÇÕES COLETIVAS SEGUNDO ROGER CHARTIER

Resumo. Este texto acompanha a formulação do conceito de representações coletivas na obra do historiador francês Roger Chartier. A discussão desse conceito é norteada por mim através de um duplo olhar: por um lado, para o campo intelectual dos historiadores franceses e seus condicionamentos na tentativa de Chartier de configurar um projeto para a história cultual; por outro, para os diálogos travados por Chartier com outros autores visando à formulação de um conceito de representações coletivas. Objetiva-se demonstrar as potencialidades e os limites desse conceito para a pesquisa histórica. Abstract. This text follows the formulation of the concept of collective representations in the work of the French historian Roger Chartier. The quarrel of this concept is guided by me through a double looking at: first, for the intellectual field of the French historians and its conditionings in the attempt of Chartier to configure a project for cultural history; for another one, for the dialogues established for Chartier with other authors aiming at the formulation of a concept of collective representations. The objective is to demonstrate the potentialities and the limits of this concept for the historical research.Téléchargements
