Abstract

Since the last decade, there has been considerable advancement of the manufacturing employment in Western Parana, especially food industries based on agro-industrialization, mainly in the poultry chain. This bulge, the municipality of Marechal Cândido Rondon, showed significant growth in the number of employees in the industry with the installation of chiller's bird of Copagril in 2005. It employs around 1.600 workers, of which, a considerable number of these workers will move to other cities every day for work. In 2010, only 40% of workers employed in the fridge of birds living in the Copagril in Marechal Cândido Rondon, others commuted from 16 other municipalities. Thus, because of the work in the fridge to be repetitive, tiring and exhausting, one wonders what are the reasons that cause these workers are mobilized to work, and seek to understand the territorial mobility of labor as an expression of changes in work for capital expansion and strategic element of the refrigerator of birds in the Copagril in Marechal Cândido Rondon / PR.
