Abstract

Five snap beans accessions from Germplasm Collection of UENF were evaluated concerning genetic diversity using morphological and agronomic traits, and RAPD markers. Multivariate analysis, including Tocher´s methods, Nearest Neighbor and Canonical Variable were used to analyze the data. The results of each method showed resemblance, indicating the presence of genetic variability. The groups among parents were formed according to pod type. It was possible to detect genetic diversity among parents with molecular markers or morphagronomic traits. RAPD markers were useful for reliable hybrid identification.
