Abstract

An experiment was carried out during growing summer/fall season in Maringá-PR (1998), with the objetive to study the response of two dry bean cultivars (Iapar 57 and Iapar 72) to five molybdenum doses (0, 30, 60, 90 e 120 g Mo/ha) applied on leaves. The experimental design was a randomized complete block in a 5 x 2 factorial scheme with four replications. Height of first pod, height of plant, seed number per pod, pod number per plant, average of a hundred seed weight, grain yield and nutrient in the leaves (phase R6) and in the grain (R9) were evaluated. There were no significant effects of dosages and dosages x cultivars on these characteristics. There were significant effects on height of first pod, seed number per pod, average of a hundred seed weight and grain yield between the cultivars. The levels of K and B were also different between cultivars.

Possui graduação em Agronomia pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (1986), mestrado em Agronomia (Fitotecnia) pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (1989) e doutorado em Agronomia (Fitotecnia) pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (1997). Pós-doutor em Fitotecnia pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa-MG (UFV-2004). Atualmente é professor associado da Universidade Estadual de Maringá. Tem experiência na área de Agronomia, com ênfase em Manejo e Tratos Culturais, Fisiologia Vegetal e melhoramento vegetal, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: nutrição e adubação do feijoeiro e girassol, crescimento e desenvolvimento de plantas e Avaliação de germoplasma: Interação Genótipo X Ambiente Currículo Lattes
