Abstract

The contribution of the Post-graduate Program of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) towards the development of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul is determined through the activities of its ex-students (2003-2007). Whereas methodology comprises qualitative, exploratory, descriptive and case study research, analysis describes the importance of the university and its post-graduate program as factors towards the state’s social and economical development. Current investigation identified the Master’s Program in Agribusiness of the UFMS as the source of three different causes for the promotion of the development of Agribusiness.
