A project for reorganizing the elementary and high school trajectory: a pedagogical proposal for Physical Education

The aim of this paper is first to define body culture, a constituent of Brazilian culture, as a totality formed by the interaction of such different social practices as dancing, games, gymnastics and sports, discuss its insertion in Physical Education and reflect on the teaching methodologies and forms of evaluation.
